The Kwelstrook Batavia in Lelystad is a special green area located between Bataviastad and Houtribweg. Here, salt rises from the soil, making the area unique. Rainwater mixes with the salt, allowing special plants to grow well. This stretch is managed by volunteers from Landschapsbeheer Flevoland. This gives nature all the space it needs. Everyone can help!
Anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity, for one morning a month, is welcome. Children, under adult supervision, can also help out.
